Do you love finding mushrooms and funky fungi when you hike through nature? The damp and dirty forest floor has so much to explore if you look carefully. This thriving cluster of organisms features mushrooms, ferns, and lichen. I wonder what other flora and fauna are hiding just behind them?
These farmhouse-style mugs are lovingly wheel thrown from brown clay before we sandcarve our original graphics through the lead-free, cadmium-free glaze. Small batches are handmade in Portland, OR. Fully dishwasher-safe & microwave-safe. Every mug is packed securely in a white gift box.
The beauty of these pieces are their slightly wonky, rustic shapes. Each mug is unique, and will have visible signs of being handmade such as small bumps, signs of fingerprints, and other features which we don't consider to be flaws. The deeply engraved areas have crisp edges, and show off the bare stoneware beneath. Bases have been sanded smooth to sit comfortably in your hands. Glaze colors and textures may be different from shown, as each batch turns out differently.
